District Soccer

The Cape Central Tigers fell to the North County Raiders 2-1 in the Class 3 District Semifinal. The Tigers fell down 2-0 and had to battle back but came up short and its season came to end. The North County Raiders will face the top seed in the district, the Farmington Knights in the championship game, Thursday night at Cape Central.

 

The Jackson Indian soccer club rallied back after trailing 1-0 at halftime against Northwest and advanced to the championship game winning 2-1. Jackson seemingly tied the game at 1 in the second half, but it was waved off for offsides. Colton Seyer tied the game up in the 52nd minute before Seth Essner in the 69th minute knocked in the game winning goal and sending the Indians to the Class 4 District 1 championship game. The Indians will play the Seckman Jaguars, the top seed in the district, on Thursday in Cedar Hills.
