The Bell City Cubs are at it once again advancing to the Class 1 State Championship after defeating Hurley 3-1 on Monday. Austin Hicks pitched a gem for the Cubs giving up just one run on three hits and striking out 10 batters. Hicks did give up his lone run in the first inning but the Cubs were able to answer in the top of the third taking the lead 2-1 before tacking on another run in the top of the fourth to help secure the victory.

The Cubs will face Wellsville in the State Championship, today at 1:30.
