The Cape Central girls soccer team had to play two overtime games to win the district championship, one in which the season was seven seconds from being over before tying it up. Mattie Huff netted the lone goal in the victory to advance the lady Tigers into the quarterfinals for the first time since 2001. Katie Kinder recorded the shutout in goal for the lady Tigers. Cape Central will play Webster Groves in the quarterfinal with the opportunity to head to State with a win.
