Bell City, St. Vincent Reach Quarterfinals With Win

The Bell City Cubs are at it again and now sit just one win away from returning to State for the third consecutive year and looking to reclaim the title once again. The Cubs trailed 1-0 going into the top of the third and scored three runs thanks to Chase Dembowski hitting a two run triple with two outs before being driven in himself by Jesse Smith. Senior pitcher, Austin Hicks threw a complete game and gave up just one hit with only needing 64 pitches in seven innings of work. The Cubs went on to win 7-1 and will host Eminence on Wednesday, May 24 at 4 PM in the sectional match up.
